I hereby give "Word-Dreamer: poetics" to you. Please share, copy, archive and show to anyone anything you want. It's a shared culture out there: and so let's act as if it were one. A sense of ownership impels me to respect copyright but then how would you know me if I kept it all to myself? I thrive by needing you, needing a culture of Internet readers and needing the only true networked freedom we've got (after Nina Paley).

Welcome, Penn!
How delighted I am to see that Penn Kemp will be following my humble "Word-Dreamer" blog. Poet laureate for the city of London, Ontario, in 2010, she is Canada's foremost sound-and performance-poet. I consider her a poetry institution and among the most respected literary figures in Canada. I've published an article in Ascent Aspirations on Penn's sound poetry. A few blog posts on Penn can be accessed through "Labels" sidebar.

I am wondering if her work will be included in this course?
https://www.coursera.org/course/modernpoetry
this course is "taught" by "the Professor of the Year, 1999-2000" and
"Participants do not need to have any prior knowledge (of poetry)" and " no need to participate Or attend"

Interesting idea, this. Sort of like the "The Swedish Twitter University" idea I talked about here (see under 'Labels')
I don't think our Penn is associated with this online poetry course.
